Students honored

DANIELSON- Six local high school students were recently honored by the Danielson Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, receiving the Good Citizens award. Recipients were chosen based on outstanding dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their home at school, and in the community. Recipients are Lauren Biernacki, Tourtellotte Memorial High School; Rachel Orlomoski, Woodstock Academy; Hollis Smith, Killlingly High School; Krystina Lewis, Putnam High School; Daniel Amarante, H.H. Ellis Technical School; and Rebecca Trainor, the Learning Clinic.
