Junior Republic

In just a few weeks, the Connecticut Junior Republic will provide special festivities, gifts and holiday dinners for the young people and families at the East Hartford Group Home and the East Hartford Teen Outreach Program. Many of the children and families helped by CJR have limited financial resources and even modest holiday celebrations can stretch the family budget to the breaking point. The festivities and gifts will help light up the season for these youngsters. Contributions made to CJR at this time of year help us share the spirit of the season with the more than 1,400 boys, girls and families who are helped annually by our programs and services in 11 locations throughout Connecticut. Donations help provide meals, activities, gifts of warm winter clothing and toys for children and families who may not otherwise experience the joy, gifts and special traditions of the holiday season.
