Learning in retirement

STORRS- UConn’s Center for Learning in Retirement (CLIR) invites retirees and other interested adults to its winter session beginning Jan. 22. Come join in to discuss foreign policy issues, learn about the history of flight, and hear from a local woman who translated German messages for the British in World War II. These are only a few of the many classes offered. Call 860-486-3231 for a brochure. Register by mail, phone, or online for a half-year registration fee of $15 plus $12 for the session. Classes are held on UConn’s Depot campus on Route 44.
