Film series

The East Hartford Fine Arts Commission is offering a film series, with a French flair, beginning in January. This year’s series will feature all French films, starting on Jan. 19 in the auditorium of the East Hartford Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, at 7 p.m. This is the Commission’s seventh annual international film series. The series will include four films, one each on the third Saturday of the month, from January through April. All screenings are free. The Jan. 19 film will be "My Afternoons with Margueritte" (2012); Feb. 16 will be "The Women on the 6th Floor," March 16 will be "Delicacy," and the final film on April 20 will be "The Well Digger's Daughter."
