Valentine's Day collection

Penny Hanley & Howley Insurance, located at 52 Main St. Stafford Springs, to support troops overseas, has put together a campaign to help collect Valentine’s Day cards, gifts and supplies to send to the troops. They are reaching out to their customers, town residents and local schools to help with their collection of donations. Items that are acceptable for donation include: cards, handmade gifts, hard candy (no chocolates), beef jerky, non-perishable snacks, socks, small hand sanitizers, chap stick, disposable razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, tooth brushes. No religious items, all items must be fragrance free. Monetary donations are also being accepted. They can either be dropped off or mailed to the office. All donations can be dropped off at their office, 52 Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, through Jan. 31.
