After-school nature club

POMFRET CENTER- The Connecticut Audubon Center, 218 Day Road in Pomfret Center, offers the February session if its Winter After School Nature Club from 3:30 – 5:15 p.m. on the following schedule. Grade K-2: Tuesdays, Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26' Grade 3-5: Thursdays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. After a quick snack, participants will head out on the trails exploring the woods, meadows and streams. Their afternoon will be filled with fresh air, exercise and fun. Wildlife lessons will be quietly inserted along the way. Cost per session: $40 members; $50 non-members.
