Calendars available

COLCHESTER- The Colchester Historical Society’s 2013 Calendars are now available for purchase The entire 2013 Calendar is filled with rare photographic images of Colchester from the collection of pharmacist and photographer, Earl Holmes. From the strategic location of his drug store in the center of town, Holmes captured images of the paving of Main Street, soldiers in maneuvers on the town green, the Colchester Brass Band and Model T Fords cruising through town. The Colchester Historical Society is grateful to have had access to Earl Holmes’ personal collection through the generosity of his great-niece, Laura McIntyre. The large 2013 calendar has thirteen unique images as well as generous space for recording those important appointments. This indispensable and collectable calendar can be purchased for only $12. The 2013 calendars are now available at the Colchester Historical Society Museum on Linwood Avenue on Saturdays between 1-4 p.m., at the Cragin Memorial Library, Tim’s Bistro, United Auto Parts, Quality Consignments and Nathan Liverant and Son Antiques, all located in Colchester.
