College knowledge night

COLCHESTER- The Bacon Academy Guidance Department is hosting its annual College Knowledge Night on Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. for parents and students in grades 9-12. The first part of the evening will be an Information Session Fair, with representatives from colleges, the military, technical and trade schools, and college planning organizations present to provide information and answer questions. The second part of the evening will have Breakout Informational Workshops by Bacon Academy staff and financial aid experts on topics including Junior year planning, understanding financial aid, Naviance, college essay writing, and college/career planning.
