ESL class

COVENTRY- Free ESL classes will be offered for 14 weeks beginning Saturday, Jan. 26, until the last Saturday in April at the Presbyterian Church of Coventry. Beginner, Intermediate I, Intermediate II and Advanced conversation classes are offered. Intermediate and Advanced students may also opt to take an introduction to the Bible class. All teachers have ESL training and volunteer their time. The only cost is $20 for the student book. Classes run from 4 -6 p.m. and include a break time for food, conversation and a fun activity to learn about American culture. Each semester includes at least one class party. Besides improving English skills, students have an opportunity to meet both American and International friends. Students can join throughout the semester. The church is located on the corner of Trowbridge and Highway 44 in Coventry. Free childcare is available for children under 11.
