Post 14 Rockville American Legion Baseball will hold a registration meeting for the Rockville American Legion Post 14 senior and junior baseball teams on Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at American Legion Hall, 114 West St., Rockville. The age requirements are: players born in 1993 are no longer eligible to play American Legion Baseball; if a player is born in 1994 or 1995, that player is eligible only for the Senior Legion Baseball program; players must be 14 years of age as of Jan. 1, 2012 to be eligible for the Junior Legion Baseball program. The purpose of this meeting is to collect contact information for those interested and address questions regarding the Post 14 American Legion 2013 season. If you live in the Rockville/Coventry area and are interested in participating in the American Legion baseball program in the 2013 season, this will be a good place to start.
