COLCHESTER- Barbara Johnson, technology teacher at CES and WJJMS, has been chosen to serve as a reviewer for Library Media Connection. “Library Media Connection delivers the insight, answers, and encouragement school librarians need to transform their libraries into hubs for 21st century learning and teaching,” (www.librarymediaconnection.com, 1-10-13). Mrs. Johnson strives to create just such a media center at both schools. She is a leader in trying innovative ideas to engage students, families, and educators in authentic learning experiences using technological resources. She is a champion of student-centered classrooms and a model of inquiry-based teaching at its best.
