POMFRET- Pomfret's 300th anniversary quilt display will run until Feb. 28 with an opening reception on Sunday, Feb. 3 from 2-4 p.m. at the Connecticut Audubon Center, 218 Day Road in Pomfret. Come view a collection of quilts crafted by Pomfret and other area quilters, two of which were created especially for the town’s 300th anniversary. The larger of the two is a 121-square Jane Stykle-inspired creation. Virginia was a Vermont farmer of the 1800’s and this quilt will be raffled off.
