SALEM- Salem Public Library offers the following book discussion groups for adults. Call the library at 860-859-1130 for more information. Books in the Afternoon: Meets the last Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. Feb. 28: "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annier Barrows. Tuesday Night Book Group meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 19: "North River" by Pete Hamill.
