Children's theater

SOMERS- The Somers Village Players is offering a new program, Pied Piper Productions, a new children’s theatre venue for 2013! This new program will be lead by stage veterans, Kathy Welch and Wendy Peterson, members of the SVP Community Theatre organization. Pied Piper Productions will be a summer venue that compliments the already established spring and fall productions offered by the SVP. This program will be different from the past children’s theatre program in that it is not a class-driven workshop but rather a fully licensed production. The first production will include a cast and crew of adults, college students, teens and children. The show will be the first outdoor production and the first theatre-in-the-round production for the SVP. The production itself will be a show that is a G-rated, family-oriented, kid-friendly choice. Auditions will be held in June, 2013, with rehearsals and tech work done in July and the performances in August.
