Lenten forums

MANCHESTER- St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 41 Park St. in Manchester will be holding five forums on Sundays during Lent from 8:40 to 9:40 a.m. in the Guild Room of the parish hall (located on Church Street) on the topic of violence. The dates and topics are: Feb. 17 - What is violence and how do we respond to it?; Feb. 24 - PBS TV Special - After Newtown; March 3 - Examining the complexities of violence and how our society is responding to it; March 10 - How our faith helps us to understand and respond to violence; March 17 - Faith in action to violence and a covenant to action If interested, attend one or all the forums and be part of the discussion about violence in our society and how we can respond to it.
