EAST HAMPTON- The East Hampton High School Preschool Program is now taking applications for the spring session. Parents may fill out a preschool application in person at East Hampton High School on either Feb. 11 or Feb. 13 between 10:20 – 11 a.m. or 2:30 – 3 p.m. All applications must be received by Feb. 15. Parents who were in the program last year and are still eligible to be in the program will be contacted by phone. The preschool will offer a Tuesday/Thursday session (12:00 – 2:05) and a Wednesday/Friday session (12:05 – 2:05). Both sessions are open to 3 – 5 year olds. The preschool program will begin on March 14, and end on June 4. The cost is $75 per student. Enrollment is limited. Applications will be selected on a random lottery basis, keeping in mind an equal number of 3 year olds and 4/5 year olds. Only those who are not in kindergarten are eligible. All children must be toilet trained. Further information regarding the criteria for enrolling may be obtained by calling Mrs. Yarbrough at 860-365-4030 ext. 314. All preschoolers must present completed documentation of adequate immunizations against measles, mumps, rubella, hemophilus type B, poliomyelitis, diphtheria, tetanus-pertussin, varicella, hepatitis A & B, pneumococcal, and influenza before the start of the program.
