REGION- The Wyndam Land Trust has announced that Jo-Ann MacFarlane has been appointed to the board of the land trust. MacFarlane is a resident of Eastford and donated a 25-acre parcel adjacent to Natchaug Forest to the land trust in 2011. MacFarlane joins Ben Williams, President, George Jackson, and Andy Rzeznikiewicz, all of Pomfret Center, Richard Booth of Brooklyn, Ronald Tillen of Thompson, Jeff Stefanik of Woodstock and Andy Tillinghast and Michael Green of Killingly. The land trust would like to give special recognition to Anouk de Ruiter of Pomfret Center who recently started working as an administrative assistant to the board. Her exceptional computer and organizational skills have proven to be an invaluable asset to the land trust.
