MANCHESTER - Want to make new friends, develop leadership skills and have lots of fun outdoors? Boy Scout Troop 123 meets at Community Baptist Church at 585 East Center Street, Manchester on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. In the Boy Scout program, which is open to boys age 10-17, boys participate in outdoor and camping experiences; leadership development; team-building; and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, accountability, and teamwork. Scouting is also a great way to make new friends and learn lifetime skills; first aid, swimming, cycling, camping techniques, etc. For questions or more information, contact Joe Kidder at 860-649-9456, or visit: Manchestertroop123.org.
