ENFIELD - Are you among the 25 million people living in the United States affected by diabetes? Visit the Enfield Public Library on Tuesday, March 12, at 7 p.m. for “Diabetes Today,” a program presented by St. Francis Care and hosted by endocrinologist Jorge Diez, M.D. Dr. Diez will provide an overview of diabetes and review the many ways to effectively manage diabetes, and how you can live an active healthy life with diabetes. Topics such as medications, preventing diabetic complications, and lifestyle choices will be discussed. All programs at the Enfield Public Library are free; all are welcome.
