The Kids' Club

WILLIMANTIC-Come join in at the Windham Textile and History Museum for its March Kids Club event, Bridge Building, to be held on Saturday, March 9, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Willimantic is a city of famous and historic bridges. Participants will do a bridge walk and learn about and build different styles of bridges. The event includes a snack. Cost is $5, Kids Club members free. The Kid's Club meets at the Windham Textile & History Museum (The Mill Museum) located at 411 Main Street in Willimantic. The Kid's Club at the Windham Textile & History Museum is a monthly (nine months of the year) event which engages children in activities that entertain and educate about local history and many related topics. Each event might include a story, an introduction to some object or exhibit in the museum collection, a crafty activity and a snack.
