WILLIMANTIC- On Wednesday, March 6, the Storrs-Willimantic branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) will meet in the President's Dining Room, Hurley Hall, ECSU at 5:15 p.m. This program will honor former branch president, Lesley Kirschenbaum, who passed away in December. President Elsa Nunez, Ph.D, will welcome the members and guests and will give the tribute. Pamela Thompson will present the 2012 Woman of the Year award posthumously to Arthur Kirschenbaum in honor of his wife. Dr. Kathleen McGrory, former VP for Academic Affairs at ECSU and President of Hartford College for Women, will focus her talk on Women Who Make a Difference. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m., following the program. Reservations must be made in advance by calling 860-429-2822. Cost of the dinner is $19.
