NORWICH- A Cathedral Celtic Concert will be presented on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. featuring the music of Celticity and the Norwich Diocesan Choir, at St. Patrick Cathedral, 213 Broadway, Norwich. Celticity is a trio comprised of Sylvie Harris on guitars and banjo; Megan Sweeney on flute, fife, tin whistle and piccolo; and Phred Mileski, voice, psaltery, the Bodhran drum, and accordion. Their music combines cutting-edge artistry, passion, and a contemporary touch to traditional Celtic song. The Norwich Diocesan Choir under the direction of Douglas Green, Cathedral Music Director, is the resident choral group for the Diocese of Norwich. The choir will share the evening spotlight performing a variety of choral selections written by contemporary Irish composers and arrangements of old favorites.
