Marlborough - posted Mar, 05 2013

MARLBOROUGH – The Richmond Memorial Library has launched Zinio, an online digital magazine service for Marlborough residents. Through this service, the library subscribes to 55 magazines, which those who have a Richmond library card can access through their home computers or other personal devices. Users register through the Richmond Library home page, www.richmondlibrary.info. They select which magazines they want to receive. They decide whether to download them or read them and can even chose to receive an e-mail when the next month’s issue is ready to receive. Popular magazines that complement the library’s collection include titles like Eating Well, Boating, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Fitness, PC Magazine, Horse and Rider, Interweave Knits and Interweave Crochet, Dwell, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and Snowboarder. The program has been a big success so far with 50 users registered in less than a week borrowing 189 magazine. The Richmond Memorial Library will offer a Zinio demo program on Tuesday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m.. To register, please call the library at 860-296-6210 or register online at www.richmondlibrary.info.
