Hearling loss program

STORRS- Hearing Loss Association of America Eastern CT Chapter will hold its next meeting on March 16, beginning at 10 a.m. Meetings are held on the UConn campus in Storrs at the Phillips Communication Sciences Building, Room 142, 850 Bolton Road, Storrs (next to the Nathan Hale Inn). Guest speaker will be Suzanne Guerrucci, a therapist specializing in treating adults with hearing loss. Ms. Guerrucci will be speaking about dealing with the stress caused by hearing loss using Mindfulness based techniques. Following her presentation our members and guests will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the presentation. Refreshments will also be served. The meetings are captioned and an induction loop system is used to facilitate hearing. We welcome anyone interested in learning about hearing loss.
