Colchester - posted Mar, 07 2013

COLCHESTER- The Cragin Memorial Library Board of Trustees will begin enrolling members in its Giving Circle. Money raised through the Giving Circle will be used to purchase new books and downloadable materials and to implement special projects as identified by its library director, Kate Byroade. For a certain monetary donation, donors will become member of the Giving Circle, their names will be displayed in the library and book plates in the name of the Giving Circle will be placed in newly purchased materials. The Board of Trustees recognizes that the library is operated and supported by the town of Colchester and hopes that the Giving Circle will allow the library to make purchases that current budget constraints do not allow. Membership materials are located at the circulation desks in the library and can also be obtained by emailing Mary Ellen Mahoney at The Board is a 501(c) 3 organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
