GLASTONBURY- State Rep. Prasad Srinivasan voted to approve three nominations of Glastonbury residents: One as a judge of the Superior Court and two others to State Boards. Robyn Stewart Johnson of Glastonbury was approved to be a judge of the Superior Court. Stewart Johnson was a Senior Assistant State's Attorney for the State of Connecticut. Previously, she was an instructor with the Southern Connecticut State University's Sociology Department; a senior research associate with American University; and an Assistant District Attorney for the Hampden County District Attorney Office in Massachusetts. Joel Freedman of South Glastonbury was approved by the General Assembly to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority (CRRA). Andreea Dinicu of Glastonbury was approved to be a nonvoting student member of the State Board of Education. Andreea Dinicu is a senior at Glastonbury High School. Andreea, a previous resident of Romania, has an affinity for world languages and cultures and speaks Romanian, English, French and Spanish.
