Town receives grant

PRESTON- The Town of Preston has been awarded a $300,000 Small Cities grant to continue its local housing rehabilitation program. The program allows eligible low and moderate income property owners to receive zero-percent interest loans to make needed health and safety improvements to their homes with no out-of-pocket expense. If you think you may be interested in the program, please contact Fran Minor, Social Services Director, at 860-887-5581, ext. 6. Applications are available at the town website, http://www.preston-ct.org/, but residents can also have an application sent to them by calling 860-887-5581 ext. 1 or pick one up at Preston Town Hall, 389 Route 2.
