Classes for a better future

WILLIMANTIC- Access Community Action Agency’s Climb the Ladder to a Better Future, One Step at a Time Program can help residents of Windham and Tolland counties find and retain employment. The program consists of four group classes that will help participants get job-ready: Financial Literacy, Identifying Skills, Goal Setting, and Building Confidence. Classes are held in Willimantic on Wednesdays and in Danielson on Thursdays. All four classes will be held on a revolving basis available March - June 2013. Classes will be held every other Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon from March 13 – May 1 at Access Community Action Agency, 1315 Main Street, Willimantic, and at the Danielson location on 231 Broad Street. Funding for this program made possible, in part, by a grant from Staples to help with payments for funding licenses for employment, books for educational purposes, fees, etc. Participants will work with the employment program manager for this funding.
