COLCHESTER- Maribeth Abrams, a nutritional consultant, author of cookbooks and articles, and is a holistic health practitioner, will host a fun and informative game show-style presentation of "Nutrition Mythbusters" where you can sharpen your knowledge about healthier ways to live and win a prize. Known for her upbeat demeanor and ability to convey nutdrition cocepts in a clear and easily-understandable way she makes learning fun. Everyone is incited to the Thursday, April 4 meeting of the Vegetarian Society of Eastern Connecticut at Jack Jackter Intermediate School cafeteria in Colchester. You don't have to be a vegetarian to attend. The meeting starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. so please arrive a little earlier. Please bring: a vegetarian or vegan dish to share, serving utensil for your food, list of ingredients to put with your food, the full recipe (give to our secretary), your place setting (plate, utensils, etc.) & beverage. $7 Adults, $3 Children ages 6-13, Children 5 years and under are free.
