ELLINGTON - During the month of April, local artist Linda Lascko will be having a solo exhibition of her work at the Hall Memorial Library, 93 Main Street, Ellington. A reception, which is open to the public, will be held Thursday, April 4 from 5 until 8 p.m. Painting a wide variety of subject matter, her work is realistic with an impressionistic bent. Working primarily in acrylics and oils, she likes to subtly integrate irridescents and metallics into her mediums. The artist has been giving art demonstrations in the tri-town area.
