NORWICH- The Connecticut Tigers will host over 40 local high school games this spring as well as the University of Connecticut in a special day game against the University of Rhode Island on May 15. It all adds up to a busy spring as the Tigers prepare to begin their fourth season at Dodd Stadium in 2013. The Tigers 2013 season begins on Monday, June 17 against the Lowell Spinners, the NYPL affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, at 7:05 p.m. with fireworks after the game. The Huskies game against URI will begin on May 15 at 11:30 a.m. The game is a special DARE Day/Education Day that features a $6 ticket offer to local schools that includes a food and drink voucher. Other highlights include Boston College vs. St. Johns on Wednesday, April 24, the ECC Tournament from May 22-24, the Shoreline Conference Championship Game on May 25 and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event on June 8-9.
