What does your library mean to you?
Norwich - posted Apr, 03 2013
NORWICH- During National Library Week 2013 (April 14-20), the staff of Otis Library would like to know how the library has been part of your life and how it supports your needs. Look through your old (or new) photographs. If you have one that shows you at Otis Library, please share it with the library! It would be helpful if you would write a short description of what the library means to you. Did you or your child participate in a story time? Have you volunteered at Otis Library? Perhaps you've attended a program or event. The staff would love to know how Otis Library has impacted your life. If you don't have picture, that's okay! They would still like your input. Write a narrative piece describing an activity at Otis Library in which you have taken part, or about a staff member who helped you, and what that meant to you. Otis Library will be taking story and picture submissions until the end of April. Once they have gathered all the submissions, the staff will vote on the most creative and heartwarming story/picture that is presented. The winner will receive a gift card to La Stella Pizzeria in Norwich. How to submit a story and/or picture: Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Postal Mail: Otis Library, 261 Main Street. Norwich, CT 06360, Attn: Amanda Brouwer; Otis Library Facebook page. Drop off to the library Reference Desk. If you submit a photo that you would like to keep, they will take a scan of it. Please understand that all photos will be used to promote Otis Library, and may be put on their website. Please contact Amanda at email@example.com for more information. This event is sponsored by the Elsie Brown Fund.
