Take in a ball game

Chaplin - posted Apr, 04 2013

CHAPLIN- On April 27, 2011, a wonderful tradition was started as the Parish Hill Pirates varsity baseball team played a game at Dodd Stadium in Norwich. Dodd is a minor league baseball field where the A League Connecticut Tigers currently play. Last April, the Pirates returned to Dodd and lost a heartbreaker to Ellis Tech. This year, the new look Pirates will play two games at Dodd Stadium on April 26 and May 8. Parish Hill varsity baseball players will be selling tickets to Connecticut Tigers games for $8, with half of the proceeds going toward paying for the games played there. Check out www.cttigers.com for their game schedule and ask any of our players if you are interested in this fundraiser.
