WINDSOR- Windsor’s first-ever “Autism Puzzlethon” will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sage Park Middle School at 25 Sage Park Road in Windsor. The event will feature puzzle fun, food, and prizes. Proceeds will support Autism Services and Resources of Connecticut (ASRC), as well as the student clubs at Sage Park that are organizing the event. This event is being organized by the Sage Park Pals, a club at Sage Park Middle School that strives to grow friendships between students with and without disabilities; many of the members are diagnosed with autism. The Pals meets at after school, least twice a month, to enjoy fun activities together, and students also get together during homeroom and lunch. Members of the Sage Park Kiwanis Builder’s Club and the Sage Park National Junior Honor Society are helping to plan this event. The student club members will host a face painting booth and other activities. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Anyone of any age or ability can register to participate in the April 27 Autism Puzzlethon at Sage Park Middle School. While there is no admission fee, donations of $5 per family or $2 per individual would be welcome.
