Edible wild plant talk

MANCHESTER - Educator and naturalist, John Root, will give the presentation, Edible Wild Plants of the Northeast, a comprehensive introduction to the identification and uses of wild plants for food and beverage on Monday, April 29, at 7 p.m. Questions and comments are welcome throughout the presentation. Plant descriptions, guidelines for responsible and safe foraging, and a bibliography for further study are distributed as well. The free program is open to the public and registration is not required. It will be held in the Howroyd Room, Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main Street, Manchester.
