Fishing derby

SOUTH WINDSOR - South Windsor Recreation Department and the Super Sixty Sportsmen Club will hold their annual free Fishing Derby on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dzen's Pond on Barber Hill Road, South Windsor. The fishing derby is open to all South Windsor senior citizens and children from 5- to 15-years old. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring their own fishing equipment and bait. The pond will be stocked with rainbow trout; prizes will be awarded. Refreshments will be available for purchase on the grounds. The Derby will be held rain or shine and admission and parking are free. The pond is located at Dzen Tree Farm.
