Drive for the Kids
Willington - posted May, 10 2013
WILLINGTON - On Saturday, May 25, during Willington Day at Center Elementary School, 12 Old Farms Rd, Willington, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., parents and guests will have the opportunity to contribute $10 to the PTA during the Drive for Kids fundraiser sponsored by Bolles Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep. Any licensed driver, age 18 or older, is invited to join in the fun. Just by donating $10 and taking a test drive in the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan, your donation will go to the Willington PTA and count toward a total donation. There is no limit to the number of drives. At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (northeast, southeast, midwest, central and west) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids program. In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators across the nation to contribute nearly $5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
