WILLINGTON - On Saturday, May 18, there will be a Lego Building Challenge at the library from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The library will have the legos, you bring your imagination and creativity. No registration is required and children of all ages are welcome. All the creations on display throughout the library afterwards. On Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m., in the library community room, Dr. Matthew Raider will present a program on the healing power of meditation. Dr. Raider is a clinical physician and coordinating director of the Geriatric Teaching Program in Family Medicine at Middlesex Hospital. He will discuss the latest research and teach a simple, effective technique that can be used daily to promote health, relaxation and inner growth. This program is free and no registration is required. On Saturday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m. in the community room, "To the Arctic" will be shown on the big screen. This story is about the journey of a mother polar bear and her two cubs as they navigate the changing Arctic wilderness. Rated G and the run time is 40-minutes.
