BOLTON- The 7th Annual Artists of Bolton Art Show is much more than just an art show, and it’s free to attend. The art show, sponsored by The Bolton Land Trust, will display all new art by Bolton artists. The show will be held at the Early New England Homes, 26 West St., and Rte. 85, in Bolton. The opening is on Friday, May 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., and the show continues on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday is opening night with a reception starting at 6 p.m. with snacks and live music from “We Got Rhythm.” This year we will honor the artists that put on the show each year. Nancy Capodicasa’s piano students will perform starting at noon on Saturday. Look for artists demonstrating on Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday will bring the results of the viewer’s choice award, as well as a new addition to our art show. We will chose one high school artist to receive a gift certificate to Jerry’s Artarama for $100. Along with the regular art, scenes of Bolton will he highlighted and there will be small paintings for under $100. Prints will be offered at bargain prices and there will be note cards for sale by exhibiting artists. A portion of the sale proceeds will go to the Bolton Land Trust, so show your support and enjoy the show. Any questions call Dorothy Hall at 860 647-8266, or Bonnie Massey at 860 202-7112.
