EAST WINDSOR - The East Windsor Farmer’s Market, sponsored by the East Windsor Agricultural Commission in partnership with local businesses, will be located in the parking lot of Golden Gavel and Joe’s Package Store on Route 140. The Market will be held Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, from June 30 to Oct. 6. Vendors will offer locally grown seasonal produce and locally produced foods and products by Connecticut artisans. The Market has been accepted to participate in the SNAP/EBT benefits program offered by Connecticut Department of Social Services, and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) offered by the Connecitucut Department of Agriculture. WIC Fresh Fruit and Vegetable checks offered by the CT Dept. of Public Health WIC Program are accepted. Vendor applications are available in the Planning Office or first selectman’s office at the East Windsor Town Hall, 11 Rye Street, Broad Brook.
