GLASTONBURY - St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites you to join us for our first annual Blessing of the Fields on Sunday, June 2, at various farms in South Glastonbury. Blessing of the fields is an ancient tradition in the church to celebrate life and honor the farmers who grow the food that sustains us. The event will begin at Killiam Bassett Farm at 8 a.m.; signs will be posted. A complete schedule and map of farm locations will be available. Eucharist will be outdoors that day followed by a picnic at Robb’s Farm on the morning’s journey through South Glastonbury. Bring family, friends and neighbors. For more information, call 860-633-7175. No matter who you are and wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome at St. Luke's. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is located at 915 Main St., South Glastonbury.
