Celtic Vespers

Manchester - posted May, 21 2013

MANCHESTER - Celtic Vespers will be offered at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday, June 5 at 7 p.m. in conjunction with Pride in Manchester Week. This candlelight service, steeped in tradition, invites one to enter into a place of rest, prayer and reflection and will feature music with Kasha Breau, celtic harp; Robert Breau, flute; Deborah Gemma, keyboards, and St. Mary’s Choir. An ice cream social will follow the service. Both events are free and open to the public. Donations at the ice cream social are appreciated in support of The Youth Pilgrimage to Borderlands, South Dakota. St. Mary's, is located at 41 Park Street. It is built on land donated by the Cheney family, owners of the silk mills. Several Tiffany windows located in the chancel of the old St. Mary's (completed in 1883) are Cheney family memorial gifts. For more information, call St. Mary’s at 860-649-4583 or visit www.stmarysct.org.
