MANCHESTER - The East Side Neighborhood Resource Center, 153 Spruce St., will transform into a vibrant pop-up art gallery this summer for an event series known as First Sundays at 4. The goal is to foster a stronger presence of arts and cultural opportunities within the community while showcasing local up-and-coming artists. Additionally, the event acts as a fundraiser for the East Side Livable Neighborhood Group (ESLNG). ELSNG's mission is to make Manchester's east side neighborhood a better place to live through the promotion of community events, artistic projects and social gatherings. The first event in the series will take place on Sunday, June 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. The show will feature surreal and photorealistic art by Kevin Boudreau and Britt Bolduc, as well as live art demonstrations. Cafe-style refreshments will be available and live music courtesy of Summit Studios will also be featured. There is no cost to attend. For more information, contact the Office of Neighborhoods and Families at 860-647-3089.
