COLCHESTER- On Thursday, June 6, Amanda Bourassa will be the speaker at the Vegetarian Society of Eastern Connecticut’s potluck dinner. Amanda will speak about her experiences and tips on raising healthy, happy children who are vegetarian or vegan (she has raised her own children this way). You don’t have to be vegetarian to attend The meeting is at Jack Jackter Intermediate School (cafeteria) in Colchester and it starts promptly at 6:30 pm so please arrive a little earlier. Please bring: a vegetarian or vegan dish to share, serving utensil for your food, list of ingredients to put with your food, the full recipe (give to our secretary), your place setting (plate, utensils, etc.) and beverage. For this month’s meeting only, children age 12 and under are Free admission; $7 for Adults and children age 13 and older. Any questions, contact Cheryl at 860-537-7297.
