Lessons in E-book

COLCHESTER- Cragin Memorial Library is pleased to offer two one-hour classes on borrowing e-books through OverDrive, a shared collection of 3,000+ downloadable audio book, e-book, and movie titles provided for free to library cardholders of libraries that subscribe to the OverDrive service. Instructor Sarah Eiseman will teach the free classes on Saturday, July 6, at the library. The first class, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., is for Kindle users; the second class, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will focus on all other e-readers, such as the Nook, iPad, and smart phones. Both classes will cover the basic search, hold, and wish list functions, as well as borrowing and returning books and account management. Attendees are encouraged to bring their devices and valid library cards to the class. This program is free and open to the public; however, class size is limited and registration is required.
