MANSFIELD- The Mansfield Public Library presents "On the Wild Side: Exploring the Flora and Fauna of The Last Green Valley" on Thursday, June 27 at 7 p.m. in the Buchanan Auditorium. The Last Green Valley is the 35-town National Heritage Corridor located in eastern Connecticut and south-central Massachusetts. This area is almost 80 percent undeveloped land with a multitude of opportunities for exploring the outdoors. Whether hiking, paddling, pedaling or simply observing wildlife, the region has a rich assortment of venues for enjoying the natural environment. Join in as a TLGV Ranger provides an informative program on the "wilder side" of The Last Green Valley. This program is free and open to the public.
