MANCHESTER - Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Anthony Shadid's memoir "House of Stone" is the June selection of the Manchester Public Library's Book Discussion for Adults. The book is an unforgettable meditation on war, exile, rebirth, and the universal yearning for home and is part of the Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys collection. The book discussion will be held on Monday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester. Copies of the book are available in the library's reference department. This free program is open to the public; registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.
