GLASTONBURY - Save the Frogs will be held on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m., at the Connecticut Audubon Society, 1361 Main St., Glastonbury. Amphibian populations around the world are declining at an alarming rate. Nearly one-third of the world's amphibian species are on the verge of extinction. Michael Starkey, chairperson of the Save the Frogs Advisory Committee will present a very interesting PowerPoint presentation about the disappearance of frogs and how this disturbs the intricate food web as well has having a negative results that cascades through the ecosystem. Cost for CAS members is $6; non-members $10; children $3.
