Sterling - posted Jun, 14 2013

STERLING- On Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. until 1p..m, the Sterling library is hosting a free fun-filled time for kids of all ages. This summer's reading theme is "Dig into Reading". So, we'll have a big sandbox filled with treasures for the kids to dig for! (treasures go home) We will have field-day type games from 10:30-11:30. Hot dogs and all the fixings, chips and water will be provided. (all free) Activities and crafts will be on-going for the three hours. This family friendly event will be held in the Recreation field behind the Sterling Municipal building. The Recreation department will have a brand new playscape for us to play on as well! Bring your library card! All kids who borrow a book will be entered in a free drawing! This event will be rain or shine. If it's raining, we'll be in the gym. Please sign up in the library, or call 860-564-2692, so we have an idea for a count.
