Summer reading program

ROCKVILLE - Rockville Public Library children's department is beginning the 2013 Summer Reading Program, Dig Into Reading!, as well as offering a variety of programs. All programs will be held at the libraray annex, located next door to the library, unless otherwise noted. Bev's Corner is located at 3 Elm St., right around the corner from the library. For more information or to register for any of these programs, call 860-875-5892 ext. 26. On Friday, June 21 the Summer Reading Program begins. Plus, there will be a reptile show at 2:30 p.m. at Bev’s Corner. On Monday, June 24, the nature program, Animals Underground will be held at 10:30 a.m. Please call to register for this program. Also, there will be a movie at 2:30 p.m. On June 25, Llama at the Library will be held at 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. Please call to register for this program. On June 26, Two Right Feet: Music, Movement, Literacy will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, there will be a Hip Hop dance workshop at 2:30 p.m. Please call to register for this program. On June 27, a craft workshop will be held at 10:30 a.m. and Lutz Children’s Museum will feature Fur, Feathers & Scales at 2:30 p.m. at Bev’s Corner. On, Monday, July 1, there will be a movie at 2:30 p.m. On July 2, at 10:30 a.m., a karate workshop will be held. Please call to register for this program. On July 3, Mother Goose Story Hour will be offered at 10:30 a.m. The Library is closed from Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7. On Monday, July 8, there will be a movie at 2:30 p.m. On July 9 at 10:30 a.m., Story Hour with state Rep. Claire Janowski will be held. On July 10, Story Hour for ages 2 - 4 will be held at 10:30 a.m. On July 11, a craft workshop will be held at 10:30 a.m. Please call to register for this program. A family with concert with Les Julian will be held at Bev’s Corner at 2:30 p.m. On July 12, Boston Museum of Science's Super Cold Science will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Bev’s Corner.
